Data Access and Correction Process
A controlled process for requesting access to or correction of personal information.
Submit a request
Email info@mini-marvels.ca with the subject “Data access or correction request.” Do not send identity documents or sensitive records in the first email.
Identity verification
Mini Marvels must verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing records. The verification method should be proportionate and avoid collecting unnecessary documents.
Scope and response
Clarify the people, dates, systems, and records involved. Record the request, searches, decisions, corrections, disclosures, and completion date. Explain any lawful limitation and provide a complaint route.
Security
Exports must use a secure delivery method, expiry, access controls, and an audit record. Another family's information must never be included.
